Quitely additions to the Schreck inking portfolio

So here is the first of two, much anticipated Frank Quitely penciled pages, inked by yours truly. For those of you familiar with Quitely's work, you are well aware of his very detailed minimalistic style. Because it looked to me as though other inkers of Quitely's pencils did so with pen, I attempted these pages twice in pen, and failing miserably, finally resorted to my one true love, the Brush! Yes, these pages were done completely, 100% with brush. Proving once again, that there simply is nothing the brush cannot do!

I would like to thank James Sime, from Isotope - The Comic Book Lounge, SF, for so kindly donating the Quitely pages from his own personal collection to add to this portfolio effort. If any of you are from the Bay area, or are visiting, said area, you would be deeply remiss if you don't swing on by the Lounge and check out the coolest, hippest comic shop in the land!

In the meantime, more Quitely to come next week, but if you can't wait, check out: jaredwl.com for more.
